Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to score a 10 for an Olympic competition. Comaneci was discovered by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was six years old. She first competed at the national junior championships in Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, the Romanian gymnast won. Her first ever international event in 1972 she won the event with three gold medals. Her first senior competition in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion, winning four gold medals and one silver. The first female ever to perform reverse double saltos after dismounting from an unbalanced parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Carol Wayne's journey into the realm of entertainment began in her teens. Together with her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined traveling entertainment shows known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her career in entertainment in her teens. She started her career performing figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment show Ice Capades. It featured dramatic ice-skating shows.
