Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in the French city of Puy-de Domme on 8 August 1976. She was youngest of four children. Audrey Tautou's parents who have a doctor for teeth as well as a teacher at school helped and encouraged her passion for acting and theatre. She initially hoped to become a master monkey was replaced by a desire to learn about drama and theater. Her fame grew as a child actor quickly and enjoyed enormous success. After her graduation in 1998, she took part in an French talent-scouting TV programme Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning her acting career in earnest. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her youth, however she has since gotten rid of these upbringings. She has pursued a modeling career along with her acting career. She is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. Photography is another passion and she recently exhibited her work at the Arles festival with the name Superficial. Her photos are mostly about fame and celebrity. The exhibit also includes an assortment of portraits of herself as well. Audrey Tautou's global success and fame soared after her performance in the film as Amelie Poulain's main woman in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie received international acclai film box office successes and was acclaimed at awards ceremonies across the globe. It is the top-grossing French film made in America. Following this success Tautou starred in a wide range of movies ranging that ranged from British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
